- 3 out of 4 women in Pakistan goes for a prenatal consultation at least once in Pakistan.
- Only 45% of these women have access to Private hospitals for their prenatal consultation while others either go to public hospitals, are visited by Lady Health Visitor (LHV) and Lady Health Worker(LHW), or get consultation by their family members.
- In Rural Balochistan, 23.7% of child bearing women are not able to receive prenatal consultation by specialist health workers.
